This Year

This years has been pretty good because i made new friends and learned a lot. This class was good because i learned some stuff and had fun most of the time. High school is a new thing that is hard but fun at the same time so im going to have to change to get better grades then what i have now. If i was to redo this year i would have got into a sport.

Why is Animal Farm a important story to tell?

Animal Farm is a important story to tell because it shows that if you are being treated badly you can revolt or try to stop the power that is controlling you. In the first chapter Old Major, a pig at the farm, tells all the animals about his life and his dream that he had the night before. He tells a story about how the animals do all the work and they don't a lot of food or anything. I remember when I could have used this info. When I was little I wasn't the biggest kid on the block but I didn't let people mess around with me I just didn't talk to them. Back the book, during Old Majors speech he said that he couldn't take himself being controlled by man so he got his friends to join him to overthrow man. But sadly at the end of the chapter Old Major dies in his sleep so only his friends can overthrow man now.

Power

Power has a lot of meanings but the one that i think is right is that power is a thing that man and women strive for and want in their life. Everyone wants some kind of power in their life's because it makes you feel important and at the top of your game kind of. Some time in your life you will try to beat someone to a goal or a job, something like that but that is trying to get more power too. If you don't try to strive for something then your whole life is pointless because you would just stay the same old person your whole life and you would just not do anything. People have studied that if u aren't striving for anything in your life then you most likely are depressed. Overall you should always try to get something better in your life because then it won't be boring.

Overweight Heredity

About 33% of kids in America are obese which means that they are overweight. People have told me that some reasons that America is obese are due to fast food, video games, laziness, depression, and no exercise but the main reason that many Americans are overweight is heredity.

Some people think that fast food is to blame for the U.S. being overweight because we have McDonald's and Burger Kings all over the place. Other people think that video games are the most important reason because kids that play all day have a bad diet and don’t get a lot of exercise. Another group of people believe that laziness is the cause of obesity because if you are sitting around all day and eating chips you wont get the right amount of exercise. Many people think that depression is the reason because when some people are depressed they just eat the pain out. Other Americans think that no exercise is to blame in this because if you don’t exercise you most likely will become overweight.

The main reason why America is more overweight then most of the other countries is heredity. For example if you are born with overweight parents there’s a chance that you will develop their life style, which is most of the time not healthy. Obesity causes about 300,000 deaths each year in America. Another example is that if your family has a history of being overweight you might become obese when they get older. About 50% of kids with one parent who is obese became obese. Kids with both parents that are obese are at 80% chance that they will become obese.

This is important because if you are over weight then you can do a lot less in your life and might turn into depression.The biggest reason for America being overweight is heredity and needs to be fixed or it will become an even bigger problem in the future.

How did hitler trick the German people into doing evil

Hitler was born in Austria and when he was a little kid him and his family moved to Germany. When he got older he entered ww1 as a messager. During the war his best friend got killed right next to him and that impacted his life. When he got older he became the leader of the nationalist party of Germany or known as the Nazi party. When he was running for the leader of Germany he told the people that he would get them out of the great depression by starting having the factories build war materials like tanks and bullets. But Germany didn’t know what he was planning. In 1939 Hitler attacked Poland and ww2 started.

What are the Axis and Allied powers of WWII and what are the differences?

World war 2 started when Hitler’s Germany attacked Poland, which had an alliance with France and England (Great Britain). That means that if Germany attacked Poland then France and England, which are in an alliance group, called the Allied powers. The allied powers where U.S., Britain, France, USSR, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Greece, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, South Africa, Yugoslavia, but the main countries in the war where the U.S., France, England, and the USSR. So when Germany attacked Poland, France and England attacked Germany on the west side of Germany but on the east side where the USSR was, the USSR didn’t attack Germany because they had a pact that is like a short alliance.

Confucianism was founded by K'ung-tzu (A.K.A Confucius) and was founded around 551- 479 BC. It was founded in China. They highly believe in Chi which is the power off within.
